SAGE White Beans & Shrimp

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 15oz Cans – Great Northern Beans
  • ¾ Lbs Large – Deveined Raw Shrimp
  • 3 Lrg Clove – garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 8 Stalks Green onions (chop small)
  • 1 Lrg Green pepper (coarse diced)
  • 2 Lrg Red pepper (coarse diced)
  • ¾ Tsp Salt (to taste)
  • 4 Servings Sage Masala SpiceBean ™ (soften)
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Tsp Cornstarch
  • 3 Cups Water

SUPPLIES

  • Large pot with lid
  • knife
  • Cutting board 
  • Blender cup
  • Whisk (if no blender)
  • Small bowl

HOW TO COOK

•In large pot, heat oil. Add garlic and onions. Stir until caramelized.

•Add all peppers. Stir until peppers are flexible.

•Add salt to taste.

•Add (2 1/2) cups of water. Stir well. Bring to boil.

•Drain beans. Then add to pot and cover.

•Return to a boil. Then reduce heat to simmer.

•Add Shrimp (cook no more than 3 minutes).

•In blender cup or small bowl and whisk, add softenCitrusy Dill SpiceBean ™, (1/2 cup) of water, and cornstarch. Mix well.

•Add to pot. Stir well for about (1) minute.

•Remove from heat and serve.
