CITRUSY-DILL CRABCAKES

INGREDIENTS

  • 16 Oz Real CRAB meat
  • ¾ Cup Panko Original breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Mayo
  • 3 Servings *Citrusy-Dill SpiceBean ™ (soften)
  • 1 Lrg Egg
  • ½ Tsp Salt (to taste)
  • 2 Stalks Celery (finely diced)
  • 1 Lrg Shallot (finely diced)
  • 2 Tbsp Avocado oil

*Use additional serving of SpiceBean for intense Citrusy flavor

SUPPLIES

  • Large bowl
  • Large spoon
  • Medium skillet
  • Knife
  • Baking sheet
  • Cutting board

HOW TO COOK

•In medium skillet heat (1 Tbsp) oil, add shallots and celery. Sauté until slightly caramelized.

•Drain crab and remove any cartilage leaving meat chunks in tack

•In large bowl whisk egg and mayo. Add Citrusy-Dill SpiceBean ™ , salt, and Worcestershire. Continue to whisk.

•Fold in breadcrumbs.

•Add crab leaving chunks in tack. Mix gently and thoroughly.

•Refrigerate for 20 minutes. PREHEAT OVEN 500°

•Add (1 Tbsp) oil to baking dish and heat about one minute.

•Remove crab mixture from refrigerator. Drain excess liquid. Gently mix again.

•Make 8 patties about 3-inch circle, 1 ½ inch thick.

•Place on heated baking dish.

•Bake 8-10 minutes (depending on oven cook time).

•Remove from baking dish pat off excess oil. Let stand 2 minutes.

•Serve bottom side up. Garnish with fresh dill.
